Director Alfonso Cuarón’s last-minute visit to Japan has been confirmed for the November 5 screening of the Apple TV+ series Disclaimer in the TIFF Series section at the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival! A free screening of the short animation film An Almost Christmas Story, produced by Cuarón, along with a talk show featuring the director, will take place on Monday, November 4, at TOHO Cinemas Chanter, Screen 2.

Alfonso Cuarón
Directed the highly praised Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). Gravity (2013) was a global hit, winning seven awards at the 86th Academy Awards, including Best Director and Best Film Editing. Roma (2018) earned him his second Academy Award for Best Director, as well as awards for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Cinematography.
