The Tokyo International Film Festival regrets to announce that Director Tarr Béla, the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, will not be able to come to Japan during the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF).

The planned events will be modified as detailed below. We would like to make our most sincere apology for any inconvenience this may cause you. We also would appreciate your kind understanding regarding this matter.

Regarding the event on Friday, November 1, “Tarr Béla x Yamada Yoji Special Talk – Tarr Béla 37th TIFF Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony”:
